Hello everyone, my name is Graham Dey and I have been in the Salem-Keizer School district for eighteen years. I taught at McNary for three years then moved to West when that school opened. I remained at West for seven years where I taught chemistry in all forms from environmental through AP. After West I served four years as a district presenter for professional development and as an instructional coach, working at all of the high schools. I have also taught at Portland State University in the School of Education for five years, serving as an adjunct professor teaching courses for pre-service and in-service teachers with respect to methodology for science teaching. Currently I am in my fifth year at Sprague where I focus on teaching field based environmental science and research. The last piece I would like to mention is that I have won 28 grants over the span of my career to support innovative programs in my classroom. I live in Salem with my wife, Carolyn, and my son, Rowan.
